"Dorinda! Hurry up, because if you take any longer, we'll be late." Hisagi leaned against the wall in front of the stairs, emitting a sigh as the seconds passed painfully slow. His mind was in the low waters, sinking even farther as he thought more and more about later in the day. She still hasn't answered.. In fact, I haven't seen her around school at all. His attention was diverted when he heard a scuffling at the top of the stairs and he looked up to see his sister laying on the ground, drowsy looking. "Do, what are-"
"I'm not going to school today... I'm too tired to even stand, Nii-sama." When her brother made a move to ascend the stairs, she groaned. "Nooo! I can do it on my own, you freaky weird caring boy, you! What happened to my brother...!" she whined, a playful smirk appearing on her face afterward. It even drew a smirk from Hisagi, as well, but he lifted his hands and stepped back.
"Whatever, you little brat. Just make sure you don't fall down the stairs, okay?" Turning, he walked out of the house, leaving his sister to do as she wanted. Once he was gone, however, Dorinda leaped to her feet and sped back into her room, thinking of the same thing she'd been thinking about for the past three days. Biting her lower lip, she grabbed a small slip of paper and a pen, hesitating before she wrote three single words. I have to do this... she thought, staring down at her writing. But what to do between now and then?
(Just for the record, Hisagi's pretty much on school grounds right now. Just too lazy to type it out.. plus I don't know what else to put in for him.. XP)

i37.photobucket.com/albums/e57/Dark-Sayuri/ultra.jpg“This is for the good of the family, Aileen. It is your obligation to this family…I know your mother would be very proud of you for this my daughter.” The fate of the family name rests with father’s company. It’s medieval…we are mere puppets to them, not viewed as human beings. But for the woman who brought me into this world, for the one person I loved most of all and even killed…this is my duty to her. Hisagi, forgive me… I owe you so much mother and I have paid little since you’ve left so I will make it up to you now, with Yoji.Aileen stood on the railing of the rooftop outside the ring, her arms encircled to ensure her footing careful not to fall. Soon enough the bell had sounded yet she remained in place. She felt empty inside for days now- numb to pain, deaf to voices and sounds, lifeless… Almost at times she forgotten to breath catching her breath after remembering reality, it hadn’t been a dream-this was her life now. She had become the fiancée to Yoji as of Monday, it would be official soon knowing her father would not wish to waste time or opportunity. With a sigh Aileen sat on the edge of the roof staring down at the distance. “It’s shamelessly political and unfair. What about…love? Doesn’t he care about that?” Derrick had already went with his father to the early business meeting hoping to avoid classes for today but still he was to attend the Homecoming with an assigned date as usual. He stared into nothingness blankly in thought over the past two week activities. Maybe I should have gone to school with Aileen, she’s been acting weird since Monday night and I’m worried. But I don’t want to see…sigh. Everything’s just a mess. And now Aileen is engaged to Yoji, never thought she would have this burden of the Jabak like me but I guess father thought of her reputation too. Our family business is self-involved…the thing I fear is when it is my time to take over will I become another heartless clone… I don’t want this life. “Sorry we’re late, forgive our tardiness. Now let’s move on with the meeting shall we?” The final board member insisted taking his place and the meeting was finally in session turning Derrick into business mode like the perfect controlled scion should.

When the bell rang, Hisagi had opened the door to the school roof, lighting a cigarette, and listening to his music. Hey, girl, you know you drive me crazy. One word puts a rhythm in my head. Still I'll never understand why you hang around, I see what's going down. Snapping his lighter closed, he walked to the side of the brick wall encasing the stairs inside and sat down with his back against it, taking a long drag from the cancer stick he had grown addicted to yet again. While he had been so distracted with Aileen, he hadn't had but one or two a day at home and that was it. Now, since time had passed and they hadn't communicated since, he had begun to grow back into his old self, but he knew he'd get worse; it happened everytime something good came around their family, then left. Maybe I should have taken my own advice instead of giving it to Do... But I still can't but feel.. worried, he thought, directing the issue toward Aileen and not himself.

The air caught on with the scent of cigarettes Aileen’s nose wrinkled in reaction of the smell. With a short turn of the head she saw Hisagi to her dismay, quickly Aileen squat down to hide herself and started to crawl to the other side of the roof holding on to the ledge railing quietly. If I fall I die but if he sees me I die, a win/win situation here. God, I knew I should have just stayed home today! She thought in panic safely at the point she could reach over without being seen behind the door pillar she hopped over the railing to the rooftop. How the hell am I going to pass him without being seen? Hm, maybe I can jump from the roof to the ground below. I mean it’s only like 20 ft or something, right? …Shit, I’m screwed until he decides to leave. Aileen sat in the shadow silent and just watched him feeling guilty all the sudden. Hisagi… " thought I told you I hate those cancer sticks you idiot..." She whispered to herself staring at her feet.

Hisagi was almost done with his cigarette and about to leave until his cellphone vibrated in his pocket. Taking off his headphones, he slid the phone from his pocket and answered it with a rough greeting. "All right.. No, I don't care what you put it in, as long as it's not like.. a picnic basket or anything, you should know that," he gruffed. There was a few seconds of silence before he let out a sigh, rubbing his forehead while balancing the cigarette between his fingers. "Stupid, it's just like we used to do it. It's no different than two weeks ago now, so just drop it off in the usual place at my house, okay? What? Ugh, in the bush.. under the left window. Jesus.. All right, talk to you later, Vix. Don't get into too much trouble with the police now." Pocketing his phone, he set the headphones back over his ears and played the music a little louder, standing and flicking the cigarette to the ground after the last bit was burned. Turning he headed toward the door, deciding it was better if he just skipped school for the day. It was no different the last three, so why worry?

Vix? Who the hell is Vix? Is that a girl’s name?! She thought to herself feeling her stomach burn with sudden jealously before hearing the rest of his conversation. Ah, I almost turned into a green monster there. I can’t believe him, he’s wasting his time on something that’s probably illegal again that idiot… There is no future with him. Just go already Hisagi. Aileen bite her lip peaking her head out slightly from the corner waiting for him to leave the rooftop so she could escape. She knew sooner or later they would confront one another but she wasn’t ready just yet, especially after Monday night’s sudden surprise. But fate was against her when her cell phone began to play her ring tone; she frantically took out her cell and actually chucked it off the roof in desperate panic. SHIT! HE HEARD ME! GOTTA HIDE! Aileen hurried over the railing again and squat down breathless.

Hisagi paused, his hand on the doorknob. Did he just hear Aileen's phone go off? Pausing his music, he listened, but he heard nothing more than silence and wind. God.. now I'm hearing her damn phone. I need to get away from this place, he growled in his mind, heading downstairs. Once he went through the school and exited out the front doors, he pulled out another cigarette and lit it. Just as he was pocketing the lighter, he caught sight of something on the ground, as if it was mangled. "What the hell..?" he said aloud, kneeling and picking up the broken phone. It wasn't too bad and it was only the top half, the battery and it's cover that was- Wait a minute.. This is Aileen's phone. Was I really hearing things up there or not? Hisagi glanced up at the roof of the school, but shook his head and dropped the remains of the phone, continuing his trip home. I just need to get home and get that stash before a stray cat gets into it. Hell knows the last thing we need is high cats.

Aileen safely returned back on the rooftop breathing heavily after Hisagi left. “Damn him for taking so long to leave. I can’t believe I did that to my cell phone, shit. Oh wait- I got a spare in my locker I forgot. Whew, better get going before Yoji comes to find me for my next class.” She muttered and glanced at the crushed cigarette he left behind on the ground stopping mid-way. “Hisagi…you idiot!” Aileen ran down stairs as the next period bell rang noting the day was almost over. Is Do ever going to come back? No one in class has seen her this week just like me. I hope she’s okay… I still have her gift for Homecoming but I guess she’s not coming after all. She walked into class in new gloom ready counting the minutes until Yoji would pick her up for Homecoming and let out a groan her head smacked down on her desk. Damn it all to hell!
