Hisagi's Outfit: i67.photobucket.com/albums/h289/Anime_Forever07/Anime%20Couples/1883cd97.jpg (the guy's outfit of course)
Dorinda's Outfit: Just a tank top and a pair of not-too-loose sweatpants. (Just loose enough to move around in and still be comfortable)
Dorinda slipped the headphones onto her head, clipping the small MP3 player the woman at the building had let her borrow. She had agreed to the lessons after all, thinking it could be a benefit in the future. Perhaps she could use her skill on the street to earn some extra money when she wasn't working at the pet store; that is, if she even got the job. Her hopes were high, but she thought she had a good chance at getting the job, since she answered each question sincerely with an honest answer. Glancing at her brother across the black-top ground, she took a breath and started the music. At once, a poppy tune began and Dorinda instantly remembered the dance to the song. Her body began to move in motion-dipping, sliding, jumping-and her mouth was moving in sync with the lyrics of the song. She kept her breath steady as instructed by her teacher, but she was still having difficulty doing so without keeping herself from faltering slightly at a few moves in the dance. As the song neared the ending, Dorinda paused the music and took a breath, reaching for her bottle of water she had set on the ground nearby. She then shot her chocolate brown gaze toward her brother again, wondering why he was still hanging around.
Hisagi didn't move only because he didn't feel like it. But he had to admit, he did enjoy watching his sister dance again after so many years. It used to be her biggest hobby before other things came around. But then again, it was all in the past and he could only feel relief when she began to let things go and begin to do things she had shrugged off for a purpose. I just hope these things will last long enough, he thought, lighting a cigarette, uncaring if a teacher stepped out at that moment and caught him. Yet, not only was he looking forward to seeing the day over, but to seeing the other two guests and hung around his sister frequently throughout the school day whenever they caught each other.

I would have thought school feel like a drag not a rush.” She commented then pulled her brother back at the distant sound of music; her eyes caught two afar figures unable to identify them until the scent of cigarette was caught. “It’s Dorinda I think. Let’s go say hi, c’mon!” Aileen urged happily a hand dragging Derrick by the shoulder to their friend. Derrick gave a grin as they approached Dorinda only to the point his eyes set on her brother his smile dropped suddenly. Aileen gave a surprising giggle blocked from view behind her hand then flashed a small smile at her friend. “Hey, we heard your music and thought to drop by. What on earth are you doing?” She tilted her head glad for once her hair was braided so the wind didn’t make it fly all over like normally. Derrick turned his head away from the group trying to avoid eye contact annoyed by Dorinda’s brother’s presence.

Dorinda blinked when she saw her friends come into view and smiled, capping the water and practically prancing over to them. "Just practicing some dance moves so I can catch up with my class in town. I just joined the other day. It's great!" she exclaimed, pride gleaming in her eyes. "I kind of wish the school had a dance class. Do you think they'd make room for it if enough people requested? It'd be worth going around the school and asking every student, even if the work doesn't pay off." She looked over at Derrick, still feeling the pang of yesterday's comment from him churning in her stomach. Although she wanted to just turn her music back on and dance off the feeling, she stood her ground with a relaxed smile on her face. "So what have you two been up to?"
Hisagi, even across the black-top, felt a slight tension rise in him and looked back at his sister, only to find that his emerald orbs landed right on Derrick. Although he wanted to let his sister be happy, he just couldn't help the light hostility that rose in him each time that boy came around them. There was just something between them that could never get together, and he was sure that Derrick was probably feeling the same way-only because of the few glances he'd caught before toward him. And yet, in between all of it, he didn't even know what he had done to recieve the grudge of the infamous over-protective brother of Aileen. Rolling his eyes slightly, he glanced away, taking another drag of his cigarette before tossing it over the stone wall into the grass off of school grounds. He would just keep his mouth shut unless he had something to say, just to be supportive of his sister from a distance.

Aileen played with a strand of hair that hung along the sides of her face shaping her frame elegantly. “I think I can handle that if you’re serious about a dance class at school. A lot of girls I think would go for it, I bet they wouldn’t mind a fun fitness class compared to others. The Jabak family donates a lot to school so we have a heavy influence on the school board. Maybe we can talk them into it. It’d be nice to help you…” She said a hand placed on Derrick’s shoulder to send him staggering his footsteps. “Maybe you can teach this two-left footed goon to dance before the party. He really looks forward to taking you.” Derrick’s eyes softened at Dorinda a hand ruffled his hair unsightly. “It’s true…I’m excited to take you out to this friend gathering. Don’t think I could find a better partner.” He flattered in his usual charm although his normal mischievous glint wasn’t there but sincerity.
Her heart nearly stopped in her chest. Derrick do you…Ack! He was doing it again! Aileen stepped in front of Shuuhei smoothly plucking the stick from his mouth swiftly. “And here I thought we had an understanding yet I find you again with this poison. You’re truly stubborn Shuuhei.” She smiled smashing the cigarette under her heel. She blinked in shock never fully noticed how captivating his eyes were. Too green to be human, too beautiful to be wasted on a man who seemed so… Aileen shook her head confused at her new thoughts she thought only for Mustang lately. “I see you stayed here with your sister. How unusual.” She commented her cheeks tinted pink faintly then she watched Derrick her eyes saddened a bit at his flirting her hand unconsciously fiddling with the ring.

Dorinda let a bright smile slip over her face at her friend's proposition, happy she would be willing to help out. "That would be awesome. You don't know how much I'd appreciate your help. And if it actually did become a class...!" she murmured excitedly. Dorinda glanced between the two siblings, her heart doing a small flip when he heard the sincerity of both of their voices as they talked about the party. She then tapped her chin with a finger as her other hand rested on her left hip, examining Derrick. "I dunno... He looks like he's gonna be a tough puppy to train. You don't give up too easily, do you?" She poked him in the chest as an emphasis on her question, looking up at him with a raise eyebrow. She had to know, because if he planned on giving up, there would be no use in training him. Plus.. if he did want to learn, what exactly would she teach him? Or should she make him sign up with the dance classes in town?
Hisagi first glanced at Aileen after she finished her comment, then looked behind her at the distance she seemed to have crossed so easily and quickly. "Yeah, it kinda runs in the family to be stubborn. If you haven't seen it in Do, you're going to sooner or later,' he said, unmoving from his seat on the low stone wall. Although he was going to drop his eyes somewhere else, they picked up a curious tint and he rose an eyebrow. "How would you know what's usual between us and what's unusual? For all you know, I could be watching her from around every corner of this prison." No accusation could be heard in his voice, but simple facts and a possibility of teasing hidden inside. For a girl who shows her affection to her brother by abuse (which she'd most likely deny in his mind), and owns a lot of money, she sure thought she'd know her friend like the back of her hand. And to bluntly admit it to himself, she was right. It was unusual for him to stick around school when he didn't really need to.

Derrick merely grinned his shoulders automatically shrugged his indifference casually at Dorinda. “If I can handle martial arts training then I think dancing lessons are the least of my worries. I should be able to handle it with your helpful guiding, no?” He knew already how to dance for the most part since he had attended more parties than his memory could keep track of but there’s no harm in letting Dorinda help him improve at least. His eyes sparkled devilishly as he smiled again. “Ready for lessons, lady mine. Just please tell me we won’t dance to any girl songs-if we do I might bail on you. Nothing personal, chére- I’m sure you understand.” Derrick looked down at the finger she used to poke him and his eyes slid at Aileen. “No I don’t give up easily… *Ahem, let’s begin shall we? I want to know at least a few moves before school ends today so I have time to practice.”
Aileen pondered Shuuhei’s words a finger at the bow of her lips cutely. “It’s not that I got that vibe from Dorinda herself…more like from you to be honest. You’re too obvious at times or maybe its just luck I was correct. No matter what it is-doesn’t change the fact I was right, no?” She smirked a wave of her hand to dismiss the subject. Her eyes trailed back to him away from Derrick a question ran off her lips. “Do you dance? Ooops-never mind…don’t think you’re the type who enjoys to dance.” Aileen spoke truthfully her opinion outloud and laughed at the image of him doing the Nutcracker ballad in her mind. It was hysterical! She continued to laugh holding her sides for support unable to remember the last time she laughed so hard in so long. “I-I’m *gasp, giggle* Sorry! I’m better now…” Aileen smiled a giggle or two managed to escape again.

"Alrighty, Mr. Tough Guy, whatever you say. Let's just hope your words prove to be true. Now, you have a choice between these three songs. I doubt you want to do the tango at school, huh? Well, it's not a real tango, more like a mix between that and hip hop, but still. This one right here, this is what I was just dancing to. And this one I was practicing last night. There's more, but I left those papers at home," she said, shuffling through the papers as she spoke. For once, she didn't feel the anxiety and the little butterflies of nervousness like she normally would if she was teaching a really hot guy or even near one. She just simply felt comfortable and relished the fact that she could say that to herself around Derrick.
A smirk broke across Hisagi's face. "Well, no, I don't dance a lot. I never was fond of all the dancing, but when I was a kid, Do and I made a good duet. She'd play the piano and I'd play the-er...." Hisagi paused, his emerald gaze automatically dropping to the ground. What the hell am I saying? I've never told anyone before, so what makes it so different now..? he wondered.
It makes a difference because..you want someone to know. You want to share the good times with someone else other than yourself and your sister. But you're afraid, aren't you?
"Yeah... I am," he murmured before he looked back up at her. "Um.. Nevermind, don't worry about it. It was nothing really important." Dammit, Shuuhei, you really messed up this time.

Derrick felt his eyebrows rise up suggestively at the mention of tango. “Does that mean you’ll be wearing a split cut, low v shoulder dress and I get to dance with a pretty rose?” He joked as he clasped his hand together and batted his eyes at her kicking a leg in the air. His chest puffed up in another joking comment. “Yes! I am macho man! Ha ha ha…okay, I’m serious now.” Derrick cleared his throat sensing his fun was going over-board again. He gently picked up her hand and brushed his lips on top of it. “Whatever pleases you I’m up for. Promise to be a hard worker-heh.”
Did...did he just smile? How cute. Aileen blinked at Shuuhei confusedly before a finger tipped his chin back to her direction. “You alright? I bet you’re only saying that because you’re hiding something or being shy. Either you tell me or I’ll just ask Dorinda later.” She grinned evilly at him taking her burning finger from him to set her hands at her hips. A sudden breeze hit lifting her miniskirt to her annoyance-her hair may have been safe but her skirt was certainly not. “ACK! Damnit! Why is it so fucking windy this week?! Never wearing a skirt again!” Aileen blushed positive her undergarments showed a few times regardless of her struggle to hold it down. Please God, tell me no one saw that or I’ll absolutely die!

Dorinda felt the heat in her face go from what seemed like a regular seventy or so degrees to the high hundreds in merely a couple of seconds. "W-well, the tango isn't the one with the rose and everything. I haven't really practiced it yet because my brother is stubborn and the only time I can practice is when I'm at my dance class with my partner, which is any time after school. It's really neat, though, because the outfits are really comfortable and the women's are a mix between a dress and tights that stop above your knee. Really comfortable," she rambled, looking at the dance papers. Her mind really didn't want to pick one and kept insisting the tango with Derrick, but she forcefully picked out one of the papers. It had been the one she had just been practicing moments before. "We'll just do this one. Here, take a look at the moves and study them. If you need a little music to help..." She paused and restarted the song, pushed play, and slid the headphones down so they were circling her neck.
Hisagi stifled a laugh, glancing over at the grassy side of the wall to prevent himself from looking at her. "Well, it is Autumn. Usually fall tends to be a bit windy," he pointed out, taking the liberty to stand and stretch out his legs. He couldn't help but glance over at his sister and Aileen's brother, but quickly tore his attention away so he wouldn't draw their attention to him. "I used to play the violin when I was a kid. It was the only way I could really help my sister get into anything to get her mind off of our family situation. It didn't really last long because once Earth disappeared, she gave it up and didn't really do anything anymore. I just stopped earlier than her, that's all."

Derrick smiled not hesitating to place a hand on her waist and the other held in the air waiting for her to complete it. “I think it’d be best if we practiced the steps together. You can watch my form and tell me if I do something wrong. Best method for dancing commonly.” He said gently his eyes staring down at her. “What did you say this was? A hip-hop thing or something? I wonder how others at the party will take us cutting up the rug. I bet you’ll give them heart-attacks.” Derrick laughed lightly feeling a pair of eyes on him suddenly he turned and saw Aileen’s panties feeling his cheeks heat up. Sharply he turned back to Dorinda clearing his throat again. Why do girls wear skirts if it’s windy out? Common sense there… “Maybe Aileen and I can join your dancing classes to watch you. I want to get her out of her room for once, she doesn’t come out anymore unless it’s school or for food that little moocher. Plus I just wanted to watch you…”
Aileen pressed her back against the wall to block the wind from lifting her skirt. “I’m sorry. I can’t actually imagine you with a violin; I wish I could hear you play. To make it even I’ll share a secret with you. When I was young I used to be a Maiko dancer before my mother died and became a tomboy. Hard to believe I was gentle and quiet, huh?” She cracked a small smile a hand playing with her braid randomly. It was weird talking about such sad matters with Shuuhei and it didn’t seem to hurt as much when she shared it. Aileen tilted her head at him not noticing she was staring him down during her train of thoughts. Wonder what he was like back on Earth…

Dorinda blushed. The tango? But I thought... Well, we can't do it anyway, because I haven't changed the song, she thought, about to speak her discovery. But before she could, her mind realized that the song had changed, even when she had put it on single repeat. Oh... the traitorous machines of our generation... But without argument, she placed her hand on his shoulder and her other obediently in his waiting hand as the song began. "Well, you can always come and watch. I can't really stop you. But I have to warn you that I'm not the best one in there. In fact, I'm still behind, but that's why I have the papers and the MP3 player, so I can practice at home and stuff. I guess I can say that I'm catching up quickly, though," she said, repeating the words her teacher had said herself. I guess joining the classes gave me more than one benefit.
Hisagi leaned on the wall next to Aileen, his hands shoved into his pockets. "Yeah, well... People don't expect those types of things. They think whatever you are like now, you were like that when you were a kid. So I'm not surprised you can't imagine me like I used to be." He took the liberty of glancing around, first at Derrick and Dorinda. Again, he hoped she didn't get too far in over her head. There might be a possibility that he couldn't help her out of it. He then turned his emerald gaze to Aileen for a brief moment, contemplating what she had said. "You're pretty quiet and gentle now, I think. When you aren't with your brother, anyway," he said, adding the last on after a moment of thought.

Derrick smirked at the CD player then back at Dorinda in victory. “Then it’s decided. We’ll drive you to your next class and observe you in action. I didn’t expect you to be the best dancer there so shortly. No matter how much talent you have a dancer needs practice and time. Now then, what exactly am I doing here?” He glanced down his feet waiting for her command impatiently tapping with a mind of their own. Be patient stupid feet! Don’t want her to think I’m rude. Derrick flashed Dorinda an innocent smile to cover himself.
Aileen hiccupped a laugh a hand rested at her breastbone. “True, I’m not a gentle little delicate flower around Derrick that’s for sure. He’d pounce on my like a tiger if I let my guard down around him. Didn’t think anyone thought I was gentle and quiet…” She trailed off her eyes steady on the ground over to Shuuhei. “You’re the quiet observant type I think…from you watching over your sister and collecting tiny details from me. Or maybe I’m mistaken, can’t tell since we’ve only met. Hey, do you have a cell phone?” Aileen asked eyes piercing at his face for an immediate answer.

Dorinda flashed him a grin. "You should have asked to look at the papers before you thought you could do it. But it's too late now, we've already started," she said, beginning the routine slow enough for him to follow. In between the dancing, she either looked at their feet, to make sure he was following okay, or up at his face. There was just something different in him she never thought would be there, and the same with Aileen. They were a broken family, dependent only on each other, but still strong. Dropping her chocolate brown gave back to their feet, Dorinda began thinking. "I used to dance when I was younger, after I lost interest in the piano. Things happened between then and now, so I had to give up my dancing. But now that I have it back, I'm feeling better. Plus, I'm not too far behind. They've only been in town for a week."
"Well, how many people do you know? And I'm not talking about the people you meet, say hello and have small talk, then leave each other alone until the next time you meet at some major important date. I'm talking about the people you like to talk to, that you.. know. If there isn't too many, then that's reason enough to think that. But if you have more than.. twenty, then at least one of them should have said something," he said. He then shrugged at her next comment. "I would say more along the lines of the quiet and leave me alone, I don't really care types. But I guess I can be observant, too." When Aileen mentioned a cell phone, he slipped a thin blue one out of his pocket, revealing it to be a Razor. "Yeah, but Do doesn't know yet. I've had it for a month or so now and I plan on getting one for her on her birthday. I think I might get her a pink one just to see her reaction. It'd probably be a Kodak moment."

Derrick gave an understanding grimace his mind recalling times back on Earth. “There are a lot of things we’ve all given up since then…it was hard on Aileen and me coming here. As if being heirs of the Jabak family wasn’t hard enough succession of our family line is even more critical now Earths gone. We’ll have to give up all our freedom entirely soon enough for it.” He said gently his eyes focused on his footwork careful not to step on her feet and follow correctly. “Only for a week now, huh? Maybe we can have them use our school for their classes if they want more business attraction and the students can finally have a exercise class that’s not a death-trap like Mustang’s class.” He suggested trying to brighten up the conversation between them.
“No one to be honest. I don’t know anyone unless I benefit from it in the future. Father would have my head if I befriended anyone who didn’t offer business. He thinks it’s a waste of time and they wouldn’t serve any good in my life. He’s so…sigh.” She shook her head trying to forget everything. Aileen gave a small smile at the image of Dorinda with a pink razor in a ~Kodak~ moment. “Yeah, I think she’d like that a lot. When is her birthday…I want to get her a gift as well. Oh! Before I forget may I add my number into your phone? Just in case…so it’s there for any reason.” She said shyly her feet scraping on the concrete sidewalk rethinking her request. There's that shy feeling again- weird.

Dorinda furrowed her eyebrows at his words. "Well, just because you're rich and everything doesn't mean you should give up being a teenager. That's just ridiculous! A kid should freely live his or her life the way they want to and when they become an adult, that's when they can throw everything fun out the window and focus on more 'important' matters. I mean, come on, you're a guy. You're going to pass on your family's name no matter what, so what's the point?" she said heatedly while she kept her footing balanced during the dance. Yet almost immediately, she regretted the words that tumbled out of her mouth uncontrollably. "I-I mean.. um... Yeah, maybe I should ask my dance teacher about it today after school." Dorinda kept her eyes down on the ground, embarrassed by her barracade of words. It was probably a family tradition, and a ridiculous one at that, but she knew she should have had better control of herself.
"No offense, but he sounds like a dick. You should live the way you want to. In fact, I think you should just do everything you ever wanted to do, just to prove he doesn't have that tight of a grip on you. I'd do that," he said with a smirk. But he knew she wasn't him. "Well, you always got us if you need something. And a pink phone would blow Do's head off-she only likes hot pink, not plain. So I'll probably just ask her her favorite color instead before September comes around. It's on the sixteenth." Without hesitation, Hisagi handed her his phone just as he took another glance at Dorinda. Maybe I'm being too picky. I sure as hell dont' want to be like that guy...
