Derrick picked her up by the waist and swung her around snickering. "I thought you would." He placed her down holding one hand to her waist formally another held awaiting her hand to complete it. The music was a good mix of slow and techno with a catchy beat, perfect couples to take it easy on the dance floor. "How come they always put on a slow song when you want to start dancing I'll never get that..." Derrick thought out loud glaring up at the speakers. Yoji was in the crowed searching for Aileen making his nerves tighten worriedly. That guy is just ready to pop that question, obviously. Aileen better hide in the girls bathroom a little longer or he'll find her if she leaves it. "How are you feeling tonight? Better than last time I hope."
Aileen hurried to him putting his arm around her neck and helped him up to the couch. "Pink trolls eh? That's a lovely thought-sigh, idiot...what were you thinking? Lay down on the couch Hisagi, I'm going to get you some water." She said throwing her high heels by the door and walked into the kitchen looking around for the cups. It was her first time in almost years actually doing something in a kitchen, grabbing one from a shelf and turned on the sink holding it under the water until it was half full. Aileen returned sitting on the couch by him and held the water to him. "Drink this, it'll help. God, you're high as a kite right now. You idiot...Here I was worried about you and you're here doing this." She muttered glaring down at him running a hand down his face tenderly unable to stay mad at him in this state.

Dorinda laughed, placing her hand in his and following suit quickly. "Well, I don't know. Maybe you should do an essay on it or something in English class. You might be credited for making a point.." she said. She followed his gaze to where Yoji was, feeling a tad bit of pity for him being alone and ditched by Aileen. Poor guy... I wonder what's got him up in a bunch though.. she thought before pushing him aside. "Umm.. Yeah. I guess a lot has gone through my mind and my body is a little exhausted from my laziness at home for the past four days... I can't really recall much of what I did, if I did anything at all. But I know Hisagi would take care of me after he got home and before he went to sleep, to make sure I was okay, I think. I'm glad.. everyone was there that day, even if it didn't seem like I cared."
Hisagi laughed, although nothing was funny, pushing her hand away that held the glass of water and grabbing ahold of the one that was on his face. Leisurely, he nibbled one of her fingers before turning and wrapping his arms around her waist, sexual tension easily mixing with his nonfunctioning brain. Suddenly, as if he had changed his mind, he sat up and took the glass of water and drained half of it due to his dry throat. Sure, he was out of his mind, but he was still conscious of his need for food and drink. Hisagi then turned his dilated emerald gaze to Aileen, tilting his head slightly to the right. "The trolls are dancing," he murmured before he began laughing again, leaning forward so his head rested on her shoulder. Almost immediately, his hands rose to her shoulders and slowly began pushing the straps just as he nipped her collarbone and traced it with his tongue. "You smell really good, Aileen..."

Derrick laughed trying to picture her being everything but energetic. “I can’t see you being lazy honestly. You’re always full of pep and stuff- I hope you’re not turning into a couch potato. Unlike you I missed the entire week of school working and making preparations with Aileen, surprised I managed to make it here without dropping dead from exhaustion. But it’s good to hear you’re doing better…I was worried about you, I mean Aileen was too ya know...” He stumbled on his words trying to act smooth, giving a devilishly grin at Do he dipped her back a little. Act normal don’t trip over yourself idiot! Why are you getting all nervous now? “You look really nice tonight by the way…”
Oh god, don’t do this to me right now Hisagi. You’re not yourself and I’m… “Sigh, glad you like my perfume. If you like it so much I’ll buy you a bottle- now lay down, ah!” She blushed as he started on her collarbone feeling the fiery sensation they shared last week. Aileen tried pushed him back her hands on his shoulder. “H-Hisagi, don’t do that. You’re not yourself right now.” Trying to buy more distance from him she leaned back on the couch sitting on the other armrest in a arm’s length. I can’t believe he’s doing that in his condition but I can’t just leave him either like this on his own. Or he’ll do something stupid I just know it. “You should try to rest Hisagi…”

Dorinda smiled, but in the back of her mind, she was wondering what he meant about preperations. Was it another family business thing? If it was, she wasn't going to say anything about it nor ask about it. She had learned that it was none of her business and that she'd only make matters worse if she butted in. "Thanks. It was my Mom's dress when she was in school, I think," she said instead of asking the question that was beginning to nag at her.
Hisagi didn't move after her when she moved away, instead he just sat there and looked at the ground for a moment. He was forcing himself to think, so he could figure out why she didn't want to have anything to do with him unlike last weekend. Standing without a word, he went to the kitchen and opened the fridge door before sitting down in front of it, looking in at the drinks on the bottom shelf. Smirnoff.. Too light. Jack Daniel's; not really feeling it. What the hell? When did we get wine? Hisagi pushed the bottle of wine to the side, half out of vision so he wouldn't bother himself with it. Oo, Bacardi! That sounds good.. But so does vodka.. Stupid alcoholic beverages... He reached in, taking out a Bacardi with the flavor label of Razz, and looked at it for a moment before shrugging his shoulders. It'll do for now.

Derrick’s eyes almost popped out amazed about the fact of Do’s dress. “Your mother’s? Wow, looks brand new though. Kinda surprised you can fit it would have thought you two would be different sizes. Not to sound like a jerk, you look stunning in it and not saying anything offensive about your figures.” He smirked before it fell into a horrified look his eyes pinpointed at Jessica who was making another scene with a Homecoming chaperone. “God, you can’t take Jessy anywhere without someone to control her. She’s like a wild- glad she’s not the one I’m here with right now.” His words low and irritated before flashing a smooth smile at Do slipping into his charm. “Homecoming is almost over already-it’s a quarter to midnight almost. Didn’t realize how long we’ve been dancing.” He noticed overlooking Do’s shoulder at the clock.
“What the-hey!” Aileen chased after him into the kitchen and found Hisagi with alcohol in his hands. W-W-What the hell does he think he’s doing?! As if being high wasn’t enough he wants to get drunk too!!?! IDIOT! Her eye twitch both glaring daggers at him still taking in his stupidity before she walked up to him and snatched the Bacardi away. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? You can’t drink this! You’re a minor and you’re high already- like hell I’m going to let you go into a worse state! Hisagi, would you please just lay down on the couch and rest? I’m not leaving you when you have me so worried, you idiot!” She said angrily unable to contain herself, even if he was high and wasn’t thinking straight what he was doing was inexcusable in her eyes. “That’s it, I’m taking you to your room before you get in trouble.” Aileen encircled her arms around is forearm and tugged him away from the fridge underestimating his weight. God, it’s like dragging a dead whale on to a beach shore. He’s so frickin’ heavy!!! She thought pulling without moving more than five inches at most then let his arm drop exhausted.

A light blush spread across her face and she dropped her eyes, a shy smile on her face. "Well, we were. But my mom hasn't been keeping up with her food for a while now and, even though Hisagi gave up, I at least give her something good to eat every now and then. We barely see her... but the last time I did, she was really skinny." Giving a small shrug, she glanced back up at him, then at Jessica and the clock. Almost midnight already? Where's Aileen at?! Jesus, maybe someone saw her go in and ambushed her or something and it'd be all my fault and GOD DAMMIT! Dorinda forced her mind to calm down, while on the outside she looked pretty much like her normal ditsy self. She slightly tilted her head, suddenly feeling those butterflies she had been so numb to earlier that night. "I'm hungry! Let's get something to snack on," she piped, heading straight over to the table, suddenly afraid of her growing feelings. This isn't healthy for a girl. Just try to prevent it or something; you know you like him more than a friend, you probably always have, but you don't want to get mixed up in the whole family thing. You don't understand it and their dad probably won't approve anyway, so you'll just get in the way. Fucking monkey-brained assholes, where's the damn cream-filled donuts!!!
As every second passed, hearing Aileen's words, his anger began to spark from small cinders to a blazing heat. When she gave up dragging him, he grabbed her and dragged her on her back to the floor, carefully, but still slightly rough. "Worried? Why are you worried about me, Aileen? You should be worrying about yourself, because I know I sure as hell worrying about you. Did you know you could be pregnant, Aileen?" he snapped, looking down at her. Even just the sight of her hurt him, thinking of how he could have better taken care of her instead of just taking advantage. "I can't sleep much.. because I'm worried so much about you, Aileen. And I've been scared as hell for the past couple of days because I haven't seen you at school or talked to you. You didn't even reply back to my text Monday and I thought something had happened to you. I.. I would have talked to Derrick, but I didn't really see him, either.." His anger was ebbing away as he spoke, his body becoming more relaxed instead of tense, and the more he thought about it, he was hoping that there was a chance that she didn't have to go through it because of his stupidity.

Following in pursuit he came up behind Do pondering over her sudden change of mood. Wonder what she’s th-WHAT THE HELL?! The food tables appeared as if they’ve been ambushed by a wild animal crumbs and dishes chaotically messed up everywhere. Derrick’s jaw fell to the ground almost at the sight then looked back at Jessy who was now happily eating off other people’s plates. “She’s a monster… Well if we can’t find anything to eat here I guess we can it the ice cream parlor down the street or something.” He concluded to Do rubbing the back of his neck a nervous bead of sweat hung from his head. “Your brother won’t mind if I keep you out this late would he? I’ll take you home afterwards if you want. Jessica probably already has a ride home from a friend and Aileen probably ditched Yoji to go home so we’re clear. Now that I come to think of it where is Yoji?” Derrick glanced around finding no trace of his friend and future brother-in-law. Damn, I hate it when he does that. He’s like a ghost at times disappearing like that. Hope Aileen got home okay.
The cold floor leaked through the material of her dress, her hands rested on her collarbone inwardly. Pregnant…I can’t…is if possible? I mean we-he didn’t use protection? I didn’t either but still I guess I haven’t thought of that before. What if… She froze with new fear that crept up her spine shivering at the thought. “Hisagi… were you just faking being high just now? You’re acting serious all the sudden.” She deadpanned him giving a flat-eyed look sitting up; Aileen placed her hands on his forearms giving Hisagi a soft kiss. “I’m sorry I worried you. It’s been a rough week for me that’s all… Don’t worry about me, I’m alright for now so no need to dread about last time.” She blinked at the ground absent-mindedly her grip on him loosened. “Why do you care so much about my well-being anyway?”

Oh, now you've done it do-do head! Being alone with him is probably worse for you than it is him! God, I can't just say no, I'd feel bad because he's trying to be all nice and stuff. No, no. Just say no! "Okay, that sounds good," she heard herself murmer. In her mind, she cursed herself several different ways as she glanced around while walking toward the doors. "I doubt Hisagi would be in a really caring mood right now. He was moping in his room or something when I left so... yeah.." One of these days, Hisagi is going to get caught with all that alcohol. I think he was doing drugs again, now that I think about it... Stupid retard..
Hisagi rested his forehead on Aileen's shoulder with a sigh. "No.. I really was. If you look a person in the eyes when they're dilated, then you'd know they're high or something. It was when you went to get water that I could tell it was beginning to go away. I didn't want it to because it gets rid of everything. That's why I wanted my damn Bacardi, but you had to freak out and follow me.." he murmured, a smirk twitching the corner of his mouth. His mind was already trying to work out her question, wondering that himself. "I... Honestly, I don't... know. I just do."

Noticing her voice tone he felt Do was hiding something from him. She didn’t sound all too happy about that. Maybe she doesn’t want to go; I guess I’m being too forward with her. Derrick thought, he gave a small smile checking the clock again. “Second thought it’s getting late and I have work to do when I get home so best I go home sooner the better. I’m sure you had more than enough night activity to last you for a while so you should get some rest. Let me take you home at least.” He said as they walked through the open doors and stopped at the limo holding the door for her.
Her heart sunk heavily like lead but she kept a calm smile on her face. Idiot…what were you expecting from him? An undying confession or something like that? Complete fool, there’s nothing between us I need to realize that. Yoji is the one I need to think about now on. Aileen stood up on her feet careful not to step on Hisagi with her footing. “Well now you got control of yourself I should get going. It’s late and Do will be home soon, don’t want to cause an awkward moment later so I’ll show myself out. Just rest up and I’ll see you later on Monday okay?” She smiled closing his fridge and walked out of the kitchen to the front door putting her heels on hurriedly. I hate it… I hate avoiding and running away from things. I don’t want to hide it anymore.

As they walked out, Dorinda felt her heart flutter, then sink like a rock, her stomach twisting so she felt as if she was sick, although she knew she was far from it. Pausing at the open limo door, she glanced at the ground. "Thanks. For a lot of things. I had a lot of fun tonight, probably a lot more than I thought I would have." She paused, wondering if she should say more, but thought better of it. Guilty consciousness never got anyone anywhere, I bet. I feel bad enough as it is for everything I've done... she reminded herself, crawling inside of the limo. Right away, she took off her heels, letting them relax so the slight pain began to ebb away. I hope Yoji didn't see where Aileen went. I'm beginning to worry about both of their disappearances...
Hisagi let her go, although surprised at how quickly she moved up and away from him. Watching after her with his slightly dilated emerald eyes, he held back a sigh. Had he said something wrong again? I wish I could have done things so much differently than they'd gone... he thought, grabbing his Bacardi again and staring at it. Why? Why couldn't he have answered her with a real answer? Why did he care about her so much when he could just as easily categorize her with every other girl he had brought over?
Because you love her, jackass. Jesus, do I have to tell you everything? Hisagi rolled his eyes, half tempted to throw the bottle, but then it'd be a waste. But he couldn't help but feel that it was the right answer. It felt like it was the right answer. "It's because I... I love you... Aileen," he murmured, setting the Bacardi down softly.

Door was half opened before Aileen's replacement cell phone went off. Trying to sound normal as possible her voice she kept quiet but it came out like a wounded whisper. "Hello?...No, ony my way home right now...Yeah, I left to check up on someone- sorry, didn't mean to ditch you like that. Uh...no I can make it home by myself thanks...Yes, I understand...Let's talk about it tomorrow, okay? Bye." Aileen slapped her cell phone shut, Yoji was worried about her when she been so selfish and left him behind without a word. What am I doing...? She glanced back at the kitchen door wanting to run back but she knew her place, she wasn't wanted. "Watashi no ai temae Hisagi." Aileen muttered in her native tongue then left the house making her way out to the driveway.
Derrick place a hand on top of Do's head when she seemed down again all the sudden. "How about all of us go for ice cream when we're all rested up after tonight? If you want that is, I don't like the idea of you being locked up in your room for days. It isn't like y ou..." He said smothering her bangs into a mess and gave a troublesome grin. Pulling up to the driveway Derrick glanced out the window finding Aileen walking out, his face glued to the window trying to confirm it was really his sister. "What's Aileen doing here?" He muttered, the door swung open with Derrick rushing out but remembered his manners holding a hand out to Do however his head was turned to his sister. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Yoji right now? He was looking everywhere for you at the Homecoming- to pull a disappearing act on us is rude ya know." Derrick casted a suspecious glance at the house then back at her.
Aileen just stared at her brother blankly and gave a small bow of her head. "Sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. I just came by to check up on Hisagi...he's fine though. Derrick, you'll take me home right?" She said gently feeling her eyes were stinging hot with tears wanting to be unleashed. He gave a silent nod knowing something was wrong just by looking at her face. "Of course...let me walk Do to the door, go sit inside already." Derrick ordered in a comforting way, she passed Do without a glane or word into the limo. "I'll take care of her, don't worry. C'mon..." He walked her up to the door his eyes dazed off thoughtfully. What happened to her? Never seen her cry since mom passed away, not once has she been that close to crying that I've seen. "Sorry, I'll call you later when I'm free from work and find out what's with Aileen. See ya later Do." Hurrying he planted a kiss on her cheek and rushed back to the limo to comfort his sister further more.

Dorinda said a quiet good-bye as Derrick walked away. If Aileen was close to crying, then it had to be something that had happened here. Quickly, she went inside, calling out for her brother as she shut the door. "Hisagi! Where the hell are you, you dimwit?" she snapped, her patience low when he didn't answer. Kicking off her high heels, she first checked upstairs in his room, seeing no trace of him. Kitchen.. she thought, heading back down and into the kitchen. Sure enough, there was Hisagi, holding a half empty Bacardi bottle in his hand with an empty one in front of him. "Jesus, no wonder she left this place almost to tears. You probably said something stupid when she was trying to be nice, you friggin' dope head." She snatched the half empty Bacardi and tossed it into the sink carelessly, uncaring that it broke, and threw the empty one away. "Go to bed, Hisagi. I doubt you're going anywhere so-"
Dorinda stopped in midsentence when her brother grabbed her wrist, glaring at her with intense hatred. "I don't need your motherly advice, Dorinda. I can very well take care of myself. If intended for someone to take care of me, it sure as hell wouldn't be anyone in this city," he spat, all traces of the calm and collected Hisagi she had known to be gone. His bipolar.. I forgot it got worse when he drinks.. she whimpered in her mind, but she held strong on the outside.
"Well, Hisagi, you aren't doing a damn good job of taking care of yourself. You've been really stupid and arrogant for the past week and it's really pissing me off!" she retorted louder than she intended, pulling her wrist roughly in an attempt to pull free. Yet instead of succeeding, Hisagi pulled and then pushed her away into the counter with a roll of his eyes, stalking toward the fridge again. Dorinda grabbed the top half of the broken bottle from the sink and threw it against the fridge, the glass shattering and cutting Hisagi's arm up. "Get a fucking life, Hisagi, because smoking and drowning your problems in alcohol isn't helping anyone, not even yourself! I should turn you in to the police so you can actually live normally instead of wasting your life on stupid shit like this. I wish we weren't even family. No, wait-we don't even have a fucking family because dad left and mom is practically dead and I'm the only one caring for her. What do you contribute, Hisagi? Nothing! Because you're too stupid to care. I hate you." With a final glare at her brother, Dorinda stormed out of the kitchen, hoping she hadn't disturbed her mother with the noise. Oh well, if she needs something, she'll call me.

"So...what happened? Never seen you this upset before, at least around others in the open. Did that boy do something to you or Yoji say something wrong?" Derrick said after half an hour of silene in the limo, she sat silent on the opposite side of the seat staring out her window. "Iie...I was being careless and I got hurt, end of story. No one's fault but my own. But still...it hurts so much." Aileen bent over to her knees tears sliding down her face. Why do you care so much about my well-being anyway? I don't... know. I just do.
You should be worrying about yourself, because I know I sure as hell worrying about you.
I can't sleep much.. because I'm worried so much about you, Aileen. And I've been scared as hell for the past couple of days because I haven't seen you at school or talked to you.
Her hands clasped over her eyes tears leaking through her fingers. Moving on sight Derrick put an arm around her hugging her to his chest letting her sob quietly. Why can't I be honest about how I feel? Maybe I should had told him but what good would that do? I can't be his... She thought, soon enough too tired to face her reality Aileen fell asleep in her brother's arms. Derrick tilted her chin once he discovered she had cried herself to sleep staring at her tearful eyelashes his thumbs feathering over them. "What happened to you? Aileen..." He kissed her forehead and laid her back down on him staring out the window soon to arrive home where more trouble awaited...Yoji.
